Frequently Asked Questions

Here are a few common questions we hear from students and parents. If you have any additional questions that aren’t covered here, contact us and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

To apply for a GAP apprenticeship, you must be a junior or senior in high school and will need to provide the following:

  • Pre-apprenticeship availability (student must be available from June to August)
  • Signatures
    • Student
    • Parent or guardian*
  • Career goals
  • Demographic information

In addition, your career and college manager for public school students, or your high school counselor, will submit your high school transcripts and official attendance records to GAP.

*Please note, you’ll need a parent or guardian’s signature to apply. Also, keep an eye on your email (including the spam folder) for messages about the application and the document your parents need to sign.
